A day in Maipú: Wineries & best lunch ever
After the pick up we will go to: Bodega CarinaE: This beautiful boutique winery is a tribute to the French art of making wines in the new world. Brigitte and Philippe Subra founded the project in 2003 with the help of the legendary oenologist Michel Rolland and since then they have produced more than fifteen wine labels and two olive oil labels. They are considered a mandatory stop for all visitors to Maipú.
Our second stop will be Bodega Benegas: Federico Benegas Lynch in 1999 acquired an old vineyard planted by his great-grandfather in one of the best areas of Mendoza, and launched himself into wine production. In this way, the old history of the Benegas (original founders of Trapiche) began a new chapter. Here we will visit a centennial winery, with one of the most beautiful and oldest cellars in Mendoza.
Our last stop: we will have lunch at “Cavas de Cano”, a very important place for the people of Mendoza, since it is the former residence and personal cellar of Don Guillermo Cano, governor of Mendoza, who in 1936 executed the First National Harvest Festival.
